I don't know if I can get 16, but I'll try. Oh, some are miniseries or made-for-tv.

A. Pick 16 (why 16 particularly?) of your favourite movies.
B. Then pick one of your favourite quotes from each movie.
C. Post the quotes in your journal.
D. Have those on your friends list try to guess what the movie is.
E. Strike out the quote once it has been correctly identified and place the guesser's user name directly after the quote.



1) "Are you killed?!?" "No, but I think I am rendered unconscious."mariesue

2) "Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who claims otherwise is selling something." stress_kitten and perlandria, simultaneously. I'm surprised I didn't get more people bombarding me with e-mails about that line, actually.

5) "Died? Who's died?" "Ah, at last! Our dear son!" No one got this one - it's "The Slipper and the Rose," a Cinderella musical from 1975 with several good one-liners and some really good music. Richard Chamberlain plays the prince. I always giggle at that line, though Piet has seen the movie and never noticed it.


6) "Using mainly spoons, we dig a tunnel under the city and release it into the wild!"snowbahr

That's all I can think of at the moment. Have fun. Only two are somewhat obscure - the rest a lot of people will get.

Nope. This one was probably the most obscure movie on there, so I'm not surprised that no one's got it yet. Piet has seen the movie, but didn't recognize the quote.
