Many of them have Canadian branches, and several are affiliated with the more evangelical denominations here. Our church regularly includes a Focus on the Family flyer in the bulletin, and the affiliate organizations were involved in funding a "Go Vote" flyer that fell just short of telling us to vote Clonservative, that also appeared in the bulletin in January. (I complained to one of the top brass at the Army in this area about that one, and the response was something like, "No one else complained, so why should we change?") The CBN has a cable channel in Canada, and I believe they're affiliated with the Women's network as well, though I'm not sure.
Short answer: they're here, but far less prevalent. I would love to know how much these groups contributed to Harper's campaign, though.
