Falls during March Break, as usual. I hate never getting the chance to wear green - until I remember that I don't actually own any at the moment.

Anyhow.

Since today is the last music class before the 17th, the song list includes:

1) When Irish Eyes are Smiling - I spent half an hour figuring out chording for this last night
2) Michael Finnigan - in their textbook, complete with accompaniment
3) Macnamara's Band - just the first verse and chorus, because it's been eighteen years since I learned it and I only remember the first verse.

I've also reverted to "Irish Lullaby" for Elizabeth's lullaby in the evening. I've always loved that song.

This evening is writing time. I think I'll work on the climax scene a bit more, just to round it off, and I'll probably start the epilogue. Next week is my personal deadline - by the end of March Break, I'll have finished the book.

I have to go make photocopies for math.

I just placed a Scholastic book order for over two hundred dollars. Most of it is for a classroom library. Also, most of it will come back to me. But for the moment, the cheque is coming out of my bank account and I get reimbursed later.

The next chunk of change I spend on this classroom library will be billed to the school. I can't see myself putting out that much money again.

I've never bought this many books at one time before. Sixty-three different books! I'd be in heaven if I actually thought I'd get time to read them all - or for that matter, if I thought I'd want to.

The book

Is not flowing tonight. My conversational style is all over the map; I need to reread the preceding chapter to recall how they were talking, and I don't have the energy for it. So I'll wait to do it until next week's uninterrupted nap times. Have I mentioned before that I love nap times?

I may try to do the epilogue, though. I'm thinking a series of letters amongst the main characters, and about them, as they decide what to do with their lives and considerable wealth.

On second thought, I'm going to go crochet for a while. The baby afghan is now destined for either my best friend's baby or the literacy teacher at work, whoever has a baby first.

Elizabeth's home. I guess that's it for whatever plans I had. Time to go sing "Bicycle Built for Two!"
