velvetpageI just placed a Scholastic book order for over two hundred dollars. Most of it is for a classroom library. Also, most of it will come back to me. But for the moment, the cheque is coming out of my bank account and I get reimbursed later.
The next chunk of change I spend on this classroom library will be billed to the school. I can't see myself putting out that much money again.
I've never bought this many books at one time before. Sixty-three different books! I'd be in heaven if I actually thought I'd get time to read them all - or for that matter, if I thought I'd want to.
