7:00 a.m. on a Saturday
Feb. 26th, 2005 07:32 amAnd from the room across the hall pipes up a large voice from a little girl: "I no sleep again!"
We've cuddled in my bed for a while, while I tried to nap and Elizabeth pulled my hair, bounced on my tummy, played peek-a-boo with the covers, and told me and Daddy in turn to, "Ge' Up!"
I really didn't want to get up.
We're going downstairs now to get breakfast and watch something fascinating on TFO for an hour. Then I'll work out, go shopping for stock-up groceries as I haven't done in about six weeks, and mark, mark, mark.
Gah.
Usually, if no one is up and about, she'll sleep a bit late on the weekends - sometimes until after eight. Why did she have to get up at seven after I didn't get to bed until one?
