Toddler songs
Feb. 26th, 2005 08:05 pmIn the last half an hour, while I've been marking and
pyat has been looking after Elizabeth, I have heard her singing:
The Farmer in the Dell
Old MacDonald (ee-I-ee-I-OH!!!)
Ring Around the Rosie (All Fall DOWN!!!, as the toy in question hits the floor)
In all cases, she got stuck on one particular line and went around dancing and singing that line for five or so minutes.
Also, she heard the theme song for Forrest Gump on T.V. and said, "Who sad, Daddy?" She equates quiet, "sad" music with someone being sad - but there was nobody on the screen.
I'm constantly amazed by her.
Now I have to get back to putting marks into the computer. I hate doing report cards.
