Purposeful Ramblings Through My Mind

Buy a laptop for the child in your life, have one donated to a child in the developing world. I really, really want to do this. I'm considering calling the school board tomorrow, asking to speak to the budget department, and pointing this out. Our schools are in desperate need of new computers - the ones we have are the same age as my grade fours - and the best bet for getting parent/teacher organizations to cough up some of the money is to phrase it as a donation to the third world.

I'm certainly going to run it past my principal tomorrow.
