Warning: behind this link is the cutest set of puppies in Oklahoma. And they're adoptable. So if anyone knows of anyone who's in Tulsa and looking for a puppy, send them this way.

For the rest of you - don't die of the cute. That will keep you from moving on to the next picture.

How absolutely adorable. And strange...I dreamed about puppies last night!

Those are utterly adorable, and I say that despite not being a dog person (and particularly not a big dog person).

However, I contend that these bunnies are cuter (http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~ns4h-nkym/gallery). Nothing can out-cute baby bunnies except for baby bunnies surrounded by flowers.

I would say the bunnies are equally cute. And more accessible.

I've just made a deal with Elizabeth: when the attic is done so we have enough room for a bunny, she can have one, but only if she takes good care of it. Fortunately we're a year or two away from being able to do the attic.

:)
I hope you make sure that the bunny is OK even if she has trouble with the caregiving, though. A lot of rescues/humane societies are hesitant to adopt out to situations where a child will be the primary caregiver because sometimes the kid isn't able to handle the responsibility and the parent doesn't really want to pick up the slack.

Oh, absolutely. I'd be badgering Elizabeth about feeding/taking care of the bunny, so it would be her doing it with my help and insistence. I would never let an animal starve because my child wasn't taking care of it - but I would consider getting rid of the animal if that went on for a long time.

Hmm, okay. Just as long as you make sure the bunny ends up in a good situation no matter what. It's not always easy to re-home a rabbit into a good situation, since there are a lot of people who still keep rabbits outside in hutches and feed them nothing but pellets, or do other less-than-advisable things. It's also hard to re-home an older rabbit.

I volunteer as a bunny cuddler at the Toronto Humane Society, and I've done quite a bit of research on rabbits (though I don't have one myself because my tiny apartment and limited finances don't really allow for that), so if there's anything you want to know about rabbit care, I can probably find you the information. Try The House Rabbit Society (www.rabbit.org) to start.

Well, it's at least a year and a half in the future, because it will take that long before we get the attic space livable, and I'm not willing to bring a pet into this house right now - there just isn't enough space. So when the time comes, I'll be sure to ask.
