Date: 2008-01-06 09:44 pm (UTC)Given that the yarn alone is worth nearly $20 retail, I wouldn't call $45 unreasonable for a pair of socks. In fact, the standard method of pricing a handmade item is three times the cost of materials, so I think it's about right if they're getting their yarn for around $15 per pair.
