Plans for tomorrow
Aug. 19th, 2007 10:29 pmPiet has tomorrow off, so I'm going to get as much writing done as possible, on the Phelippe book. I am at the point now where I need to start considering titles. With some concerted effort, there's a slim possibility I could get through the climax this week. I'm also going to try to accomplish some research into ancient Greece, perhaps even Minoan culture. I want a richly detailed world for the new dolphin book, and I'm prepared to spend a lot of time developing that before I write the book (which will be next summer, probably, so I'm not even starting to think through characters and plots yet. I want the setting-level conflicts to be very nicely laid out before I start fitting character-level and quest-type conflicts into that.)
We have a family dinner in the evening, and we have some cleaning to do preparatory to a houseguest later in the week. It's the last real week of summer - next week I'm back at work.
