Pineapple peach jam sounds yummy! My grandma made peach jam one year and I LOVED it. She doesn't can anymore though, and I can't find peach jam ANYWHERE. I can find peach preserves, but I don't really like the texture of preserves. I much prefer jelly or jam.

Peach jam is easy to make. The hardest part is figuring out how to sterilize and seal the cans, if you've never done it before. If you can find a friend who knows how to do that part of it and do it together, it's a really fun evening.

I'll happily take a can of the pineapple-peach. :-) BTW... I'm not sure if you're making 250 or 500ml jars... the chutney I made's in 250ml ones. Just a FYI.

I bought a hot water canner...more or less a big arse pot with a seive in it. It allows the headspace you need for the 250 ml jars, but I'm going to have to get a canning rack for it to do the 500 ml jars.
