The Enneagram Test v1.5 - Find out your personality type (http://quizfarm.com/test.php?q_id=200429)

I was certain I would get the Individualist... ah well.

It wasn't a very good depiction of the Enneagram. :) 5 and 4 are both powerfully individualistic - the 5s are the absent-minded professor type, and the 4s are the tormented artist type. Calling the 4s "individualists" is a little disingenuous -it's usually referred to as "the artist", or "the lover", or something of that nature. Charles Darwin was a 5, Kurt Cobain was a 4. Which about sums it up. :)

I'm a five too!

If the five is the typical INTP, then it did an okay job with me. :) Though my scores on Myers-Briggs tend to vary - I seem to be pretty close to the line on the I and the P. As you pointed out, only the N and T are fairly consistent. :)

I am astounded that you identify as an INTP. You come across to me as the most classic ESTJ I have ever met. You must be exploring your hidden sides online. :)

When I took the test in university, I came out as INTP. I haven't taken a good one recently. I know I'm close to the line on the introvert/extrovert measure, and I do come across as more E than I when I'm online. I think I'm pretty close to the line on the P/J measure too, moreso than I used to be. As for S/N - I'd have to look into it. You've given me something to think about - for someone who often avoids debates, you do that a lot. :)

I just read two different profiles of an ESTJ, and I don't see very much of myself in them at all. I'm not a joiner. I don't mind supervising, but it's not a deeply-ingrained personality trait that I must - in fact it's a trait I've had to work to develop in my teaching. I don't exactly forget birthdays, but I kind of do what's expected with them, rather than celebrating them on their own merits. There are other things, but overall - that just isn't me.

However, looking back on some of our past interactions, I can see how I might have come across that way.

Hold on a sec - no it didn't. I was looking at a comment that I thought was my response. I was a bit surprised to get the reformer, come to think of it.
