At this very moment, my husband is, as the saying goes, under the knife.

Why did I expect to get anything done today? I can't even concentrate enough to finish a scene I've run through in my head half a dozen times. Thank God I decided not to go into work today. Tomorrow is soon enough to worry about marking.

I'll feel better when I know the surgery's over, and I haven't received any phone calls to indicate something went wrong. I know nothing will go wrong. But knowing and feeling are two different things sometimes.

*hug* Hang in there. I'm sure he'll be fine (and better than fine, when it's done).

Thanks. I know that, too. And it's better, now that the surgery's probably over.
