I gave it a go, but it made me sound bitter and living an unfulfilled life full of gross exaggeration in order to make myself appear accomplished (!) I really hope that's not how I come across, as I'm actually rather happy with my life thus far :)

Yeah, I wasn't happy with the "unacknowledged insecurity" bit, among others. It may be true - but if it is, it's true of pretty much everybody.
