For those of you who post links: how do you keep track of them? Do you have a file you copy the links to? Do you bookmark them all?

I'm asking because I'm in YET ANOTHER vaccination debate, and I've decided it's time to gather up all the links to everything I've read and written on the subject. A lot of it is in my memories, but that's a pain in the neck.

I don't mind, actually. It's a bit of an annoyance, but I tend to seek out that kind of annoyance so I have something to rant about. :) And if it helps someone who's fence-sitting decide to vaccinate, then it's worth it.

Vaxing was one of those things that I felt instinctually was the right thing to do ( I parent a lot by instinct, have you noticed?? :D), but even I am overwhelmed and appalled by the stats you guys had. Seems like the hard-core non-vaxers are also the ones who believe in conspiracy theories and hate the government, and can't seperate reality from hysteria.

Yep. In their defense, have you ever googled "vaccines"? You'll find that most of the first two pages of links are all anti-vaccination sites. The amount of misinformation and misleading information on the internet about vaccination is unreal. And many of those sites say very scary things. They list side effects/reactions, but instead of listing them in order of most likely to least, they list them starting with the worst - anaphylactic shock. Talk about a scare tactic! And then there's the bit about aborted babies being an ingredient for vaccines. Holy urban myth, Batman!

And on that note...

Here's a great link (http://www.immunizationinfo.org/immunization_issues_detail.cfv?id=52) about vaccination disinformation campaigns!

Wonderful! And it includes a great page about the complete lack of a link between MMR and autism! *dies and goes to heaven*
