Yeah, Piet and i were discussing the idea of abortion leading to lower crime rates two decades later. He pointed out that the crime rates in the seventies were the highest they had ever been, so connecting a drop back down to previous levels, to the loss of many unwanted children, is not necessarily a good connection. It also doesn't fit with some of the key facts about abortion: 61% of women who get one are married, for example. Anyhow - I'm borrowing it from thebitterguy tonight when he comes to game, so I'll likely have some things to say about it sometime tomorrow.
