# How many places have you lived in your life?
Seventeen different addresses in eight cities.
# Which was your favorite and why and what street was it on?
My current home is my favourite of those I remember well, mostly because my name is on the deed. Second place goes to the house in Don Mills that I lived in for grades 7 and 8 - I had my own room for the first time there, in the basement. The lack of window was offset by my own 3-piece bathroom.
# If you could live anywhere for the rest of your life, where would it be?
A home with the same basic floor plan as this one but wider and with finished attic and basement, somewhere between here and Gage Park, or on St. Clair Blvd. It would be Victorian or Arts and Crafts, as most homes are in those neighbourhoods.
# What would your ideal home have in it?
Lots of original woodwork, an updated kitchen, a clawfoot tub in one of at least two bathrooms, a formal dining room, and space for an office/library
# Can you describe your current crib?
Built around 1920, brick two-storey, three-bedroom, one bathroom Arts and Crafts style home. Original hardwood throughout except for kitchen. In need of a new kitchen and some substantial renovations to the bathroom and the wiring. Nevertheless, I'm quite happy with it for now.
