Hello to my wife's friend list. This pyat writing on velvetpage's behalf.

Claire Michelle arrived by c-section at 10:21 PM, May 20th. She was 3.55 KG, or 7 lbs, 13 oz. No complications, everyone is doing fine. velvetpage is feeling good. Claire scored all 9s on her APGAR tests, and took to breast-feeding immediately. There is some concern that the balls of her hip joints may not be quite properly in place, but this is a relatively common and minor problem with no probable long-term consequences. As for me, I looked very dapper in green scrubs with a pink wooly toque in my breast pocket. I'm home now because we couldn't get a private room - I'll be back at the hospital in about seven hours.

I thought I would have a great deal more to say, but I'll let the photos speak for me.

sassy_fae said she is the cutest newborn and she is not wrong (and this is saying alot from a mom with three kids). She is beautiful, Velvet. I want to kiss her... Oh good grief I am crying. I am so happy for you and pyat and Elizabeth. God Bless All Four Of You!
