I forgot to mention the best part of my day. There is only one person at my new school who knew me well last spring; she and I were at the same school before this one. Well, she saw me as classes were coming into the gym for assembly and came right over. "You have lost a lot of weight! Wow, that diet plan really worked for you! You look great! I can't believe the difference!"

It was really, really nice.

Compliments from unexpected sources are wonderful aren't they? Now post some pictures, durnitall, so we can all compliment you. :)

(I was having a very bad day once and as I was walking out of a store this little girl, about 7 or so, called out "You're really pretty" to me. Things like that don't ususally happen to me, made my whole day. :) )

I would have expected everyone to tell you're pretty. You are, after all. :)

I never quite get around to pictures. We'll aim for it this weekend. By the time I get home from work, I'm tired, my makeup's half absorbed, my clothes are sweaty and covered in chalk, and my hair's been rained on. Not the best image. :)

But it's a *real* image, that and chalk is a good look this year. ;)

The beau keeps saying things like your first line, and I keep telling him he's biased. Which then leads me to thinking about my self-image rant. Which is basically that if people think they're good looking they're usually considered arrogant. That and- well, I could go on. Maybe I'll post about it tomorrow. Society and Self-Image Conceptions are a much fun topic in my mind.
