Gee - are girls allowed to go through life without seeing Gone with the Wind - I thought it was, like, mandatory...

I've just never gotten around to it. Every time it was on TV, I was doing something else.

I would probably love it, and I know most of the important lines and references - "Frankly, Scarlet, I don't give a damn" - but I've never actually seen the film or read the book. Something to correct - next summer. :)

The Birth Of A Nation (1915) I think I’ve seen this – I’m not really sure. Pyat?

It's silent, about a million hours long, and the Klu Klux Klan are the good guys. I think you'd remember. :)

I've only seen about 45 minutes of it, myself.

I've seen large sections of it, then - when you watched them. And I've heard you talk about it.

You've seen much of "Yankee Doodle Dandy" and "The Apartment," too.

"Yankee Doodle Dandy" is the one with James Cagney as William H. Cohan. It has a lot of snazzy dance numbahs.

"The Apartment" is the one with Jack Lemmon and Shirley McLain. Jack Lemmon has an apartment that his bosses use to carry on affairs with their mistresses.

I've seen all of both of them, then. Good movies, both.

That brings my total up to 37, I think.

Got me beat!

Aw shucks...I have only seen 32 (that's just counting movies I have seen in their entirety...it might be a bit more if I include ones I have seen bits and pieces of).
A cool list, very varied...but a lot of old movies, which is where I am at fault - I need to go rent some classics!!

Piet has a lot of them, so if you've got nothing better to do at Christmas, you can see them here.
