Is anybody out there at all?

What's going on this morning? Am I the only one who didn't get to sleep in? (sob!)

I need answers, confirmation that the world outside of this house and city still exists! HELP!

We're up! Just finished breakfast, Bard's reading with the baby. I'm catching up on LJ and then going to clean up the kitchen. Exciting, huh? :)

Whew! (Wipes forehead with top of Elizabeth's Spiderman pj's) I was getting worried! I've already cleaned the kitchen, emptied and reloaded the dishwasher, measured, cut and pinned two pair of black pants, fixed Elizabeth's toy stroller seat on the sewing machine, and searched vainly for black thread with which to hem the pants. Oh, and showered. I feel like it should be nap time. :)

Nap time is in approximately one hour, depending mostly on how long a walk we take in that time. But the pants are now fixed, and the little princess charmed everyone in Fabricland. :)

I manage to make time, somehow - during naps, or while Elizabeth is playing her musical book (she likes "London Bridge" - over and over and over again.) Or, as now, at a parent's house while the aunts or grandparents play with her.

Heh, the Beau is a little older than Elizabeth. ;) Though we did bond by playing Dynasty Warriors IV (I got him to play a video game!!- I'm slowly taking him over, I've gotten him to role-play again, and then to agree with me that cats are the best critters, AND now playing PS2 games!)

Uh no... he's a bit of a luddite. He doesn't actually have a computer right now (his last one broke beyond repair and was never replaced). I've shown him lj... but I don't think he'll ever use it. Ah well, another project. ;)

I wasn't that keen on the idea for a long time, either. pyat showed me, and got me hooked, just a few months ago. He might come around when he's got a computer at home. You can hope, anyway. It makes it easier to invite people to your house if your significant other knows them from lj, too. :)
