Downsides of bedtimes
Aug. 19th, 2004 06:34 amNow, I realize as well as anyone that a bedtime is a good and necessary thing for a child. It provides stability. But there's a downside too.
She was asleep by twenty after nine last night, and awake at six o'clock this morning. We've tried putting her back to bed, but she gets cuddly and sleepy without going to sleep. It's twenty to seven, and I think she's up for the day. Darn. Usually this is my time to do stuff without either of them poking in.
Well, you win some, you lose some. We won the sleep battle last night. We can't expect to win the wake-up battle too.
