Everyone, look for Josh McGuire of Canada in foil fencing today! He's my stepbrother, and though he's not officially a medal contender, he told us that he's fought and beat all the people in his lineup before this. Today is the singles event; the 22nd is the team event, when he will also be contending.

Go Canada! Yay!

Yes, but the Canadian team has exactly one star - Josh. They don't have a prayer.

So he'll fence next week, maybe win a few rounds so we don't finish dead last as usual, and then it's on to Beijing in 2008.
