Well, I cheated quite regularly over the weekend. We had pizza Friday night, a hamburger with the bun on Saturday, a piece of birthday cake and ice cream on Sunday. Other than that, though, I managed to stay within the boundaries of my diet, and the results were better than I expected.

Usually, when the weekend comes, my diet goes straight to hell in a handbasket. This weekend, I weigh the same as I did on Friday morning. Yes, that's right, I didn't gain it back!

I've decided to stay on the strictest part of the diet for four more pounds; hopefully, that will be by Friday. Then I'll break for a while, and do phase 3, where I can eat however I want until I gain 3 pounds.

Today is the day I go in to get weighed and measured. This is the first time I've looked forward to being weighed! This is great!

Woohoo! That's great! *tapdance* The 22.5 inches part is absolutely incredible -- who knew that 12 pounds (and obviously conversion to muscle) would result in that kind of loss? *boggle* Very inspiring!

Maybe I should stop carrying around the free 30-day gym membership in my bag and actually activate it... ha ha...

If I were you, I'd get some sort of reasonable sleep schedule worked out for the bunny first. Right now, you'd just be adding more stress to your life to start a workout routine.

Interested in coming to keep me company at some point this weekend? Pyat's away at Gencon as of Thursday.

I'm afraid this weekend's looking pretty packed -- Alex's family picnic Saturday, and then Sunday I was hoping we could go to Ptbo (though I don't know how we'll all feel about a long drive at that point) since I haven't seen my dad in a while. But let me see what else is going on, and I'll get back to you. The picnic's in Oakville, which is, after all, on the way to you guys (sort of). :)

I'm torn between waiting to get this sleep thing worked out and worrying that if I do that, I'll never get around to anything else. Rather like waiting for the perfect time to have kids, I suppose. *chuckle*

True. Maybe, the weight loss will change the milk, the bunny will lose her appetite for it and decide sleep is not so overrated after all, and it'll turn out to be the best thing you've ever done for yourselves.

I'm asking a lot of friends about the weekend, and I do actually have a car this time, so if you can't make it, don't worry that I'll be sitting at home tearing my hair out or anything. :) If you want to come after the picnic, we'd love to see you.

Excellent!
Weekends that include birthday cake can definitely be hazardous! :)

Cake is one of the reasons my first attempt at this diet didn't go so well. But I confined myself to one piece, and didn't cheat otherwise. And I'm down another pound this morning.:)
