velvetpageSince four o'clock this afternoon, I have:
1) bleached both sinks
2) bleached all countertops, including behind the toaster oven and coffee maker
3) cleared the junk from the little display shelves above the sink, washed them too, and put up little display items that have been hiding in my china cabinet far too long
4) made iced tea from scratch, twice because it was such a big jug
5) cut up all veggies for this evening's role playing
6) washed and put away all dishes involved in that, and baby's supper.
Now I just need to do the top of the dishwasher, the top of the microwave cart, the two open shelves, the top of the fridge, and most importantly, the inside of the fridge.
I was feeling accomplished, before I added that last bit. (Sigh) Oh well - I did do a good afternoon's work, and the kitchen looks much cleaner without the three years' worth of clutter on those display shelves.
