Shopping is balm to a woman's soul.

I bought two pair of pants today, and discovered that I had decreased by approximately two sizes in the three months since I last bought pants. It was very nice. In addition to which, I bought almost as many clothes as I did at the end of April, but spent about one third the amount. This was even nicer.

I now have a start-up wardrobe for school, though I need to get the pants hemmed or do it myself on my lovely new sewing machine. I'm not buying any more clothes until September, by which point I should be trying to shrink the pants I bought today.

Life is good. Shopping is one of the nicest things about it.

Thank-you! It was fun, and I'm very glad it was such a successful trip! I'm looking forward to wearing my new shirt to work tomorrow, too.

We are *such* girls. This isn't a bad thing, just an observation. Clothes! Babies! Shopping! Woohoo!

Isn't is nice to be able to get pleasure from small, relatively inexpensive things like a day at the mall? And we have two of the prettiest babies going.

Eh, it's not. *sigh* I spent the best part of an hour tonight, after trying for a half hour to get her down, chasing her around the bed as she laughed. I gave up, brought her downstairs, she watched an episode of Dora, and then climbed onto my lap. I took her upstairs and she went down like a ton of bricks, so I'm hoping she sleeps better tonight than last night (which was the usual fun and games). I need to sit down and do the worksheets in the book, is the thing. Tomorrow. Tonight I'm just not up for it... :P

They are just the sweetest little bunnies. And retail therapy is a wonderful thing, especially with good company. :)
