Change of focus. . .

I have at least two afghans stored in this house that are more than half done, that I don't especially want when they are done. I'm going to pull them out and finish them to send to Katrina victims.

Those of you coming this afternoon - feel free to bring your projects. We'll have a nice little stitch fest. :)

Yeah, I usually take my knitting or embroidery to games (doing that today, actually). It makes me more relaxed and less pushy, as I have something other than the game to occupy my hands.

Also less likely to pig out on the various (mostly unhealthy) snack foods.

sassy_fae and I got one and a half squares done between us, and sometime soon we're going to teach danaeris to crochet so she can make some. We're hoping to get a 24-square afghan done in about a month.
