Approximately one hour from now, one half of summerfields will be arriving in Toronto! Elizabeth is very excited - "Aunty Anney coming today! Aunty Anney coming in an airplane?"

She can only stay until Monday - imagine flying across a continent for the weekend! Still, we're looking forward to seeing her.

It just occured to me that I should call up Sears Portrait Studio and see about some pictures while she's here. I still have a Smilesaver card, though it expires soon, and it wouldn't take long. We finally got all of her one-year-old pictures framed and ready to go up - now we need more pictures! :)

I'm going to get breakfast, and begin the day.

I wrote a sci-fi novel last year for NaNoWriMo and plan to write another one this November. I would be happy to read what you have written, provided I have enough time to do so. Never seems to be enough these days...

I know that feeling. I'm a teacher, and the novel is now officially on hold during the back to school rush. Still, I'll put you on the writing filter so if you have the time, you can go back and look.
