Lazy monday

Oma took Elizabeth for two hours this morning, so I wrote a thousand words, showered, and lazed around. When Elizabeth got home, we watched a Dora video, had some lunch, then I tried to put her to bed.
It took her an hour and a half to fall asleep. I'm getting so tired of this.
Anyway, she woke up a few minutes ago, and now we're trying to decide how to spend the rest of the day. I think we'll start with Max and Ruby, or maybe the rest of the Dora video from this morning.
I've chosen a pattern for a runner to crochet for the top of my new art-deco glass-doored bookcase, which I love. Pictures to follow, of the one section that will be done soon, and of the bookcase. It's lovely, and it fits my house perfectly.
I need to put some serious thought into the rest of the plot for my book. I'm running out of steam, and that's bad. I'm guessing that the rest of the plot outline I wrote up will take me to just under 50 000 words, which is half the length of a novel. This is a problem.
Okay, time to go do something with my little girl.

That's not a suggestion, you see, it's a question. I'm sure you have a reason, but I don't know what it is.
