Cute toddler story - bicycle bears

Elizabeth has long been able to pronounce the word "bicycle" very clearly. She loves bicycles. Other kids point out cars or trucks on the road. Elizabeth points out bicycles.
So we couldn't figure out what she was asking for when one day she started asking to eat a bicycle. "You don't eat bicycles!" we told her.
"I want a bicycle in the fridge!" she cried, and pointed, not to the fridge, but to the freezer.
We figured it out, and gave her a popsicle.
A week or so later, I bought a different kind of popsicle - no-name brand freezies that come in a yellow package. I showed her these and tried to teach her the word "freezie."
Next thing I know, she's asking for another "bicycle bear." It took us a few minutes to figure that one out - exactly as long as it took to take a good look at the package and realize that the package had a teddy bear on it.
