No net is bad net
Oct. 31st, 2007 06:55 amHello!
This is
pyat writing. We're having computer troubles at home, and have no net connection at the moment. Basically, Windows XP went blooey, so I installed Linux (Ubuntu 7.10?) and that works fine - except it refuses to acknowledge the presence of our wireless card.
Our computer did not come with a copy of the Windows XP CD - all I have is a.... um... "copy"... that someone gave me a few years back, one which will no longer install properly.
Given that tonight is Halloween, and tomorrow night I'm at a company banquet until after midnight, we may be netless for a couple of days.
