Saturday Morning and Nothing to do
Oct. 2nd, 2004 08:02 amWell, let's see.
We played a totally random game of Seafarers of Catan last night. By random, I mean we shuffled all the cards from both decks, land and sea, placed them face-down, and turned them over when we came to them. The number tiles we also random, though I think we had a port on every sea hex on the board.
pyat won. In fact, he continued playing for about three turns before realizing he'd won. I was at eight points,
rainwolf was somewhat below that. It was fun, but next time we're using a scenario. It was certainly not evenly distributed.
rainwolf also installed Java Settlers for us, but there's a problem. Bot #3 won't run, so the game won't run. I have no idea how to fix it, so I guess I'll have to wait for another computer geek friend to come over and do it for me.
etherlad, you up for some gaming tonight? :)
Elizabeth almost slept the night through. Oh, there she is now. Well, it is after eight a.m. Okay, I'm now typing with a sleepy baby on my lap. I thank God for that high school touch-typing class on a regular basis.
anidada sent me a link to some Munsch books in French for sale on eBay. I got them! Now I have to figure out how to pay for them. This is the first time I've bought something on ebay! And it was only 6.50 US! Thanks, Ani!
She's starting to wake up properly now, which means it's time to go get breakfast. A bientot!
