You want a list?

Well, it starts with Piet. We met on a precursor to the Internet, a local BBS run by the newspaper. Our families knew each other long since, and we'd played in the same nursery, but we connected for the first time really via modem.

I'd rather not actually list everyone, for several reasons. First, I don't want to miss anyone and offend them; second, I don't want to divide up my friends list into "close" friends and "other" friends. Suffice it to say that there are many on my friends list who are close friends who I met online, and I appreciate all of them.
