My package from chaptersindigo.ca came today. Elizabeth will enjoy it. Piet will be disappointed that there's nothing for him in it. :)
I've got a teachers' resource book idea to sell to Scholastic - barrier games. There is currently no published resource out there for them, and there needs to be, so I'm going to draft a proposal to fill the niche. It could be really cool, and it's likely to get into print a lot faster than a novel.
We've got a tentative school organization in place, subject to considerable change over the next two and a half months - in fact, it can be changed radically any time before the end of September. It was a fairly civilized meeting, surprisingly enough.
I brought home some little, flat foam shapes for Elizabeth to play with. We'll work on shape recognition and French language descriptive skills with them.
Gotta go make tuna casserole for a hungry toddler.
