Ti di di di di di di, ti di di di do,
Je t'aime beaucoup,
Ti di di di di di di, ti di di di do,
Je t'aime beaucoup.
Je t'aime quand le soleil se lève,
Je t'aime à midi,
Je t'aime quand le soleil se couche,
Et Je t'aime à minuit,
Ti di di di di di di, ti di di di do,
Je t'aime beaucoup!

My daughter now knows all the words, though "beaucoup" tends to come out "macoup", and she can't fit all the words in in the middle section. She always nails the last word of each line, though. Also, she will hold her elbow and shake her hand all the way through - even the parts where she's supposed to be doing something different.

For those of you who haven't figured it out yet, this is "Skin-a-mar-inki-dinki-dink" in French. Elizabeth will sit on my lap and ask for constant repeats for ages. She loves singing it with me. "Your turn, Mommy! Now my turn!" And off we go again.

Je t'aime beaucoup, Elizabeth. T'es mon soleil.

I recall a song called "Skin-a-ma-link the sergeant" that contains the followinglines...
....who is it breaks a girl's heart in twain?
Breaks it in peices and swishes his cane?
Who is it sticks it together again?
Skin-a-ma-link the Sergeant!.....

and
....if you want to find the sergeant, I know where he is...
he's lying on the canteen floor.
And some say good old Sergeant!
