95 000 words and counting.

My fingers are sore. I wrote about two thousand words so far today, interspersed with a nice MSN chat with
rainwolf. I'm debating whether to go watch my soap opera or keep typing for another hour. My sister is coming at 4:30 to drive me over to pick up Elizabeth - she has a car seat, so it's easier than busing it. That gives me an hour and a half before I have to dress in something out-of-house-worthy and be ready.
I think I'll finish the Treeden-rescue scene. I need some animosity in there. Maybe I'll write some of the epilogue, too.
This has been a nice, old-fashioned vacation day - the kind where I sat around in grubby clothes (currently, last summer's workout capris, which are one and a half sizes too big and very, very comfy) and did something that required some thought but very little movement. Mental workouts, caffeine, productivity at something totally self-directed - wonderful.
I'm not going to touch my crochet tonight - a day at the computer has my shoulders too tight.
