Piet just registered me for Anthrocon. I am now officially a furry. My badge will read Velvetpage. I might even be a volunteer.

I'm scared.

YOU SHOULD BE!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

You've fallen into my evil trap. There is no escape, now.

Who fell into whose trap, exactly? It seems to me you're the one who bought the ring.

All you need now is a little tail to hang from your belt and a set of ears on a headband. :-D

I think Elizabeth has the ears, and I know she has the tail . . . oh, wait.

Now I'm REALLY scared.

Are you going to be there?

Unfortunately not. I may try for a convention closer to where ya'll are in 2006. Right now, I have a full calander for this year (and then some).

And, are you going? The long drive back would be more fun with a third person in the car. :)

Unfortunetely I've taken a good look at my financial situation and being as close to going back to school as I am, it wouldn't be responsible of me to go.
:(
This makes me sad cause I think it would be a really good experience. But I guess it just means I'll have a bit of time to save up for next year or the year after.
I'll console myself a bit with going to the Comicon I always go to in August at the Toronto Convention Centre. The comic portion of it is really good :) and if I don't go to Anthrocon I can justify putting a bit of money aside for the continuation of my various collections!

That's too bad, at least from our perspective. I understand why, though.

Going back to school? Do tell . . .

Hmm. I supposed the question is, what type of animal is Velvetpage?

Sounds like a feline to me.

Maybe I should have gone with Annarisse instead.

On second thought. . . she's a horse.

A horse? why the long face?!?
BTW if you 1. see Furnation and 2. get a chance to get copies of David Hopkins JACK#1 off 'em...
please do so. There's a lot of folks out here they won't apparently supply to whilst still selling at Cons....
and congrats on going to Anthrocon! *envy**envy*

I guess that means you're not making the flight. Darn.

If you have requests of things for me to buy and mail to you, let me know closer to the date. I'd be willing.

You won't have time to volunteer; Piet and Rafferty will draft you to work the Sanguine table as a booth babe.

Booth babe? As in, a woman at a booth at a convention of this type draws crowds for the sheer improbability of the thing?

If that happens, I'll get him to pay for more of our hotel. Or at least my registration. :)

Ooh. Maybe we can trade a bit of childcare and get an hour off each with our spouses here or there. :) Looking forward to meeting you in person!

Actually, Oma has offered to take the baby for those days while we're away. I think it would be better for her than being dragged with us, and I know I'll enjoy the con more as a result, and she'll be perfectly happy at Oma's, but I'm still a bit nervous at leaving my toddler for that long.

I'd be happy to give you a few hours Rhys-less, though. :)
