More blather.

I've run the dishwasher and emptied it, I've knit eight rows, and I've had two cups of tea, so I'm ready to think about the rest of the day.
I have to do a bit of meal planning, but that should be fairly straightforward. I've got a meal in my fridge and another in my freezer, ready to go. There will be a bit of grocery shopping for that, though. I also need to get the girls out to buy their shoes for the wedding - black patent leather Mary Janes, hopefully matching. I should go over to Pennington's and get my pantyhose for Saturday.
At six-thirty this evening, Krista is having the bridesmaids over to help make favours for the wedding. Elizabeth and I are invited. I'll help a bit with favours, but I'll also take my knitting and attempt to finish it today.
Let me see, meal planning. . .
Tonight - the rest of the turkey soup - anything still left over is lunch for Monday
Monday - Turkey and Broccoli Casserole from the freezer, served with rice which I have
Tuesday - crock pot roast, already in freezer, but I need some potatoes.
Wednesday - something that uses leftover roast beef - probably a simple shepherd's pie
Thursday - Homemade mac and cheese - need more cheese for this
Friday - rehearsal dinner
So, potatoes and shredded cheese. I can do that. I have cartons of Knorr soup for my lunches, so we're good to go. I bought snacks and filler things and a few staples yesterday. I just forgot the potatoes because we haven't needed to buy them all summer. There are frozen veggies in the freezer and carrots and onions in the fridge, so those will go into most of the meals.
