Why did it have to happen when I was 4000 kms from home?

I mean, really. They couldn't have started in LA on a day when I was in Hamilton, or even Toronto. They had to start popping out of graveyards stinking to high heaven and taking down LA, one anorexic blonde at a time, the ONE AND ONLY TIME in my whole life that I've made it to the West Coast. How incredibly uncool of them. As if being zombies weren't uncool enough. . .

I'm going to go read my daughters a bedtime story about Tir Nagog, or some other terrible movie-inspired cliché, in honour of the fact that we are as close to Movieland as we're ever going to get, and the people who make movies were probably the first to fall prey to the zombies. For many, it wouldn't be that big of a change. But yeah, nothing to do but wait, and keep them from getting my girls as long as I can.

Haven't seen anything from ursulav on this topic yet today, which means they have probably already come in contact with her maggot gun. I hope she wins through with that. I wish I'd had time to build one.

I'm thinking she is referring to all the excessively skinny people in LA that she doesn't want tainting her children's brains about being overly skinny as the pinnacle of beauty. But that is just my guess and I'm half awake.

While there are too many skinny people in L.A. and I don't want my daughters thinking that's the way to be, it was also "blog like it's the end of the world" day yesterday. :)

That depends. Does my sleepless toddler count as a zombie? Because her turning on the tv and turning the volume up to full, when I thought she was asleep next to me and had dozed off myself, definitely "got" me.
