That's pretty good. Thanks for posting it as a picture and not a link to icanhazcheeseburger. That site has messed up my Internet Explorer the last four times I've tried to access it! :(
I was waltzing through my interests list and found your LJ through "liberal Christianity" -
I read a bit of your posts and also noticed we do have a few things in common!
It looks like the last thing you would want is another on your FList (judging by its size) but I love making new friends... especially with such common interests.
And not offended if you decline!
;-D
p.s. the icon for this post is full of win At the very least, may I hijack it?
You may of course hijack the icon - it was made by asqmh from a cartoon that came from somewhere else, not sure where.
As for friending me - you've probably realized that most of my journal is friends-locked, and I've actually been considering taking "liberal Christianity" off my interests list - but you're welcome to read what's here in any case. I like respectful debate - thrive on it, really - but drama in my journal drives me batty. Just FYI. :)
Re: liberal Christianity - I try not to get too caught up in the histrionics when it comes to whose brand of religion is the right one, because I don't think that anyone has it all figured out, and no one ever will, at least on this side of existence.
There is no doubt, however, that I have landed quite squarely on the liberal end of things when it comes to my faith. The fundamentalism that I attempted to conform to a few years ago just completely went against my grain and after I realized what really entailed that line of thinking, I chucked it like a spoiled apple.
I posted a brief essay on April 1 about this very topic - you might be interested in taking a look, if you have a moment.
In any case, as for drama per se, I have enought of that brewing in my own house to tolerate much of it anywhere else in my life!

I look forward to getting to know you.
