Let's take that bastion of scientific knowledge and education - a museum of natural history - and turn it into a way for young-earth creationists to brainwash a bunch of kids, feeding them lies about the scientific status of the exhibits. It's painful to watch.

I find it kind of amusing actually. They obviously have to stretch for so much. Even the stated point that "jesus is our designer and our creator of everything ever made"...umm...thought that was god O.o And the fact remains, these kids will learn to think on their own, and some will realise this is bs.

My concern is that some of these children may not learn to think on their own. Their parents sent them on this tour, so it seems to me that somehow, it is possible to make it to adulthood without learning to use critical thinking on everything.

Ugh, it's the Hitlerjugend all over again. That stuff really disturbs me. I couldn't get very far into the video.

You notice that statistic at the beginning that 50% of Americans don't believe in evolution - more proof that my fellow citizens will gladly believe in feel-good claptrap rather than try to work with the facts.

The discussion thread (http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comments.pl?IDLink=3495359) on Fark for this video is rather heated, as most evolution vs. creation threads tend to get. One of the commenters suggested everyone go to the creation museum in Kentucky (?) and walk around debunking all of their exhibits.

I haven't watched the video myself because I know it would just give me apoplexy.
