I don't mind them not doing the interfaith thing as much as I mind that they signed up for it, and then reneged at the last minute. They had all the information several months ago, and only this week did they back out of the agreement. At this point, they should have sucked it up and decided not to do it next year if it was that big of an issue - or they should have read their contract better to begin with.
Of course, I find it very ironic that the Jewish congregation is welcoming Muslims into their place of worship, while the Christian congregation cancelled the whole shindig rather than worship alongside them.
