Interview Marathon

Tomorrow is the P.D. day set aside by the Board for parent-teacher interviews.
Problem: most people (hopefully) work during school hours.
Solution: offer interview times on Thursday night, and then cut back the amount of time necessary on Friday.
As a result, I have interviews scheduled with about half my parents this afternoon, starting at 3:15 and ending at 7:00. I have not one single break in that time. If they all show up (and most of the evening ones asked for a slot in that time frame) I will be working with three short breaks from now until seven o'clock tonight.
Dragonlass seems to have read and admired Murphy. She chose last night to roar at regular intervals. About six regular intervals, I think. So I'm tired, slightly cranky, and know that I'm not going to get any time to myself until tomorrow afternoon. (If I manage to get a few chapters blocked in my brain by then, I'll be writing tomorrow. Otherwise, I'll be doing Christmas shopping. I'm counting on the shopping.)
My principal is coming in for the observation part of my evaluation on Monday. Several things must be planned during my abundant spare minutes today, in order to be ready for that. Several more can be done Friday during the non-interview parts of the day. Luckily, my morning interviews are sparser than my evening ones. I have lots of breaks to get things done, and several interviews I have scheduled will become breaks. I have it on good authority which parents have never yet shown up for a parent-teacher interview. Those ones are scheduled for times when I know I'll want a snack.
