Oh, Opa. . .

I have a request to add to my Christmas wish-list. With any luck the guy in the red suit (Opa!) will not have finished his shopping.
I need a good recording of the Pier Gynt Suite on CD. I just heard it for the first time in years while coming home from the supermarket, and it was more fun than I remembered. When I listen to it, I promise to skip past the sickly-sweet "Morning" section so I don't get sick of it too fast. The rest is just playful, and I love it.
I've been a good girl. Really. (While munching on a large gingerbread cookie and studiously ignoring the Maltesers in the kitchen.)

Hope Santa hears you....
NAXOS historical have got some excellent stuff at less than PEARL used to charge. (just a satisfied customer)
