The planter is about 18" in diameter and perhaps a foot deep in the centre, less around the rim.
sassy_fae has had good luck with her kale so far, so I might be able to make it work. But I'd be happy with the chard instead.
So I could plant, for example, four strawberries around the rim, and the chard in the middle, and leave it at that with no problem? Maybe I could do a little hanging basket with herbs - hanging baskets don't retain water very well, which makes them perfect for most herbs.
