I was still voting in Colorado politics at the last election, and I remember voting against Wayne Allard, and am glad of that now.
Unfortunately, though hardly unexpectedly, both senators from Texas voted for it. For this, if NOTHING else, I think I just may vote for their opponents. I have little doubt that if Van Taylor (the current Republican candidate for our House seat) actually held the office he's campaigning for, he would have. Heh. He's running mud-slinging ads bitching at Chet Edwards for voting to give food stamps to illegal aliens. Of course, Edwards flip-flopped on it, voting for it, against it, and for it again apparently... Hell, if that were the only issue, I'd probably vote for Edwards just for that. I mean, most of the "illegal aliens" are migrant workers harvesting the very food they're unable to afford to buy!
