It was along these lines that I was thinking when I got M one of the softest (yet launderable) robes on the planet (I got one in a different color at my bridal shower and as a result got her one). I figured that since winter was coming something soft and snuggly that she could use to cuddle baby would be a good thing. (she actually wore the robe at the hospital when Baby B was born.) We also got non-newborn baby clothes with the season in mind...
Seems like some people just really want to spoil a newborn and don't always consider that they really don't stay that small for long. ;)
