weekend bliss

velvetpagePyat already went over the anniversary vacation, so I won't go into it again and bore you all to tears. Suffice it to say that it was a very nice night and day.
Now, however, I have to buckle down and get back to my diet. I actually gained back most of the weight I lost in the last week of dieting; I think it was mostly water retention, but it does put a bit of a damper on weekend bliss.
I'm calling Sears tomorrow to get the sewing machine tutorial set up.
Though I don't want to steal Beetiger's thunder, if anyone is looking into baby gifts and would like something handmade, I might be able to accommodate, especially blankets. I'll put a pic up of my first effort when I get it done. I'm also quite handy with a crochet hook. (Beetiger, if you wanted to print some designs onto quilting cotton for me to use in my blankets, we might be able to do some business.)
