I think it looks interesting, and it looks like it would work. For most people, portion control is the single most difficult thing about controlling diet, and a simple tool like this might do it. I think I may start taking their suggestion for breakfast - two fruits, an egg, and a slice of whole-grain toast. That would be a similar calorie count to what I usually eat, but slightly healthier. (I often have a bowl of oatmeal with raisins, cinnamon, and some brown sugar. Downside: no significant protein. Upside: really cheap and full of fibre.)
