Someone started a community geared towards starting a political party for youth, which he defined as up to age 30. I suggested he bill it for gen-x and gen-y both - thereby including anyone who feels excluded by Boomer-dominated politics. I'm not sure if he's looking at an actual party running candidates, or more of a lobby group, but in any case, the community is at youthparty. Might be worth a look.

Lessons in using a spoon, toddler-style.

1) Pick a single, perfectly-formed piece of macaroni out of the bowl, holding it between thumb and forefinger.

2) Place it carefully on the bowl of the spoon, which should be lying just to your left if you are right-handed, or to your right if you are left-handed.

3) Pick up the spoon with the hand closest to it, then transfer it to the proper hand. This takes great concentration.

4) Place the spoon in your mouth and turn it sideways until the macaroni falls off into your mouth.

5) If at any point the macaroni falls off the bowl of the spoon, pick it up between thumb and forefinger and pop it in your mouth.
